    Food was fine, but not as good as it used to be. see below. Room was lovely and we had one of their standard rooms. So their better rooms will be really nice. It's a nice warm, welcoming, relaxing place in a lovely part of the country. Swinton is a nice village. The staff and new owner were great - I do wish them every success - just hope they can sort the couple of niggles

    Room was clean with some nice touches and bed was very comfortable, stayed for evening meal food very good, breakfast traditionally Scottish with haggis and black pudding
