    Great little hotel in one of the most scenic places in Scotland.Great for a wee wander after dinner its advisable to book the restaurant as it gets very busy in the evening.Food was superb and there was entertainment on in the bar.Rooms are a bit dated but clean and comfortable would defo visit again.

    Breakfast was Excellent, so were the Evening Meals. Room we had was a bit tired, but looked in another room and it looked like it had been done up, so guessing work in progress. But bed was very comfortable.

    On arrival we found the off road parking was adequate and there was a good friendly welcome from the two charming ladies behind the bar/reception. The Restuarant was busy and the food was very good. The bedroom was satisfactory for a short stay and the breakfast was good.

    Service at breakfast was very attentive. O'K choice of cooked food. Room has recently been refurbished but could do with a chest of draws and a dressing gown hook at the back of bedroom door. Didn't eat other meals at the next door pub.

    A fantastic place to stay Friendly helpful owners and staff, food was tasty plentiful and good value. The room was spacious clean with a comfy bed and an on suete bathroom. A lively popular venue.

    We found this cheap hotel pub in summer and despite the ranking on booking.com, we stayed there one night. That was a good surprise ; everything is clean ; the room is comfortable . Large bed with a good mattress. Thick carpet on the floor. TV. Tea, coffee and chocolate making facilities. Good sized bathroom with a bath and shower. Windows soundproof as this cottage like hotel is right on the main street. Few cars are passing and there was no noise. We had our dinner in the pub downstairs. Friendly place. Nice ambiance. A lot of people ; reasonable price and good food. All employees and owners were lovely. So we spent a good time (one night) in this pleasant Hotel/Pub. Thank you.

    This is a family-run hotel. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I had an evening meal as well as breakfast. The food was well-cooked and delicious, the dinner was a new experience, the breakfast had a good range of choices. I liked the way we were able to collect our own fresh coffee.
