    Arrived later than planned, but since I had phoned ahead a meal was made for me at 8:30 pm. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was cosy and warm. En suite bathroom larger than expected with a good shower that was easy to use. Breakfast was choice of cereals followed by various cooked options. Very reasonable rates. Located centrally in Duns, handy for my business appointment.

    We loved the location of the hotel in the very center of Duns. That was especially enjoyable for me, since my seventh great-grandfather was born in the village in 1660. We loved sitting in the market square and "people watching" in the late afternoon. Breakfast and dinner were both good at the White Swan.

    Been to Dunn’s before, just the right distance away for one night. Hotel was priced well. Breakfast beautiful.

    The hotel was rather dated. My top floor twin room however was very comfortable for one person, quiet, modern, fresh decor and ultra clean. Tea/coffee/ toiletries etc all provided. Free parking on the street outside. Breakfast was included in the room rate and was cooked to my liking Sunday evenings are usually reasonably prices - this was excellent value for money
