    Breakfast was lovely . Staff very friendly and warm . We got engaged in the hotel and asked for the room we first stayed in 2 years ago when we discovered the hotel , the staff were lovely and made sure we got our room and everything was just right for us . We had a lovely, quiet stay and felt throughly rerefreshed as always when we left . Can't wait till the next time . This is a magical place to stay .

    Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was good size with very nice furnishings. Clean room with plenty hot water and heater was warm. Food was cooked to perfection with great views over the sea. Plenty car parking. The decor in the reception area and ballroom was very impressive.

    Overall experience was very good Breakfast Excellect, Dinner on Saturday nigh blew us away, if we where been critical which we are trying not to be the staff serving afternoon tea where a little under supervised.

    I like everything there. The breakfast was excellent. I stayed in a cottage and the room is well decorated with everything I need in the kitchen. the bed was comfortable. the unit as specious. Actually I booked a twin room in the main building but the hotel told me that there was not such a room type I booked, so I upgraded me to the cottage. I really appreciate what he did for me. I will stay here again if my family go to golf at ailsa.

    We loved everything. Comfort, friendliness, staff wonderful, absolutely top class, golf marvellous. Sad to be leaving. Would love to revisit next year. Will tell all our friends to come.

    Dirty room. Broken television. Terrible service from duty manager. Unmade bed when we arrived. 4 page leaflet in folder re current event - 2 years out of date.

    The main hotel is very grand and luxurious Spa facilities good if pricey although I’ve seen better at a 5* establishment.
