    It was definitely the best place I've ever stayed at! Vanilla Garden is located in the ricefields and surrounded by the stunning nature of Tetebatu. And I met the most beautiful people ever! The staff is taking so much care of all the guests and they are real warmhearted people. They show you the ricefields and preparing food for you whenever you want. Also it was easy to rent a scooter and the rooms are clean too. It's an authentical place and definitely worth it to go to! I will come back for sure!

    Mapul and his staff are the most kind and helpful people you can imagine. Helping you with the best treks, sightseeing, waterfalls, local traditions and so on really felt like home and welcoming to us. The room was amazing, beautiful view and in the middle of the rice fields. We even attended a wedding. Also Machu is the most crazy but cutest dog there and will accompany you with a trip into the ricefields. We really liked it and regret it that we had to leave. Really really recommended!!!

    Staying at Vanilla Garden was just amazing - we ended up extending our stay for an extra 4 days. Mahpul and the other staff members treated us like family and the location is just beautiful. The food was amazing, (Mahpul is a great cook), and they were so helpful whenever we wanted to go out sight seeing either waterfalls or rice terraces. Staying here was hands down the best part of our Lombok trip and we can't wait to come back!

    Don't know where to start... Friendly stuff, amazing view, good Tipps for waterfalltrips, yummy and big breakfast, best sunsets and dinner... But the favourite was the bonfire with guitar and the kind locals who were singing... We felt like a big Family.. WE Loved IT!

    This place is a little further away from the main street, between locals and nature. There are rice terraces and trees around which makes it a perfect place to relax. The people who work here are lovely, they want to help you with everything. Just tell them what you need and they will arrange it! It is not so easy to get to a restaurant in the evening, but you can have a nice dinner here (they make some local dishes for a good price). Some tips for other travellers: -Rent a motorbike to get around. -Take a tour to the monkey forest, waterfalls and rice terraces. -Pay a little bit more and take the bigger room. You will have a little bit extra space and comfort ;) -Bring earplugs for the mosques at night, as everywhere in Lombok. (Basicly 100% of the people in Tetebatu are muslim and therefore there are about 30 mosques around).

    We felt like home. Had a fresh welcome-coconut. The staff is doing a decent job and helps wherever they can. We loved the bonfire and enjoyed some tasty proper rice wine. Beds are super comfy. You can rent a scooter at this place. + Free water refill + warm shower + shower gel in provided + nice beds and proper duvet + breakfast was included (pancake or nasi goreng) + surround by palm trees and rice fields + lovely and very helpful staff

    We had the honour of being the first guests here in the middle of the ricefields and had a really lovely stay. We made a tour through the ricefields and visited the beautiful waterfalls. As we wanted to see the local lifestyle, they took us to some locals where we had a delicious lombok dinner and homemade ricewine. It was really nice to see the local traditions and to be part of it. In the end we made a fire with live music at vanilla garden resort, which was such a nice way to end the day. The room is simple but very neat and even has hot water, which is quite unique in Lombok. They do everything they can to make your stay as pleasant as possible. On your little patio you can have a really good breakfast while enjoying the beautiful view. When we left, we were surprised by the people from the resort who gave us local spices as a souvenir. Overall, we definitely recommend staying here !!

    Tout !! L'emplacement idyllique au calme au milieu des rizières dans la famille de Chili. Le lieu offre un environnement riche: pas mal d'excursions proposées : à pied en scooter..vous serez toujours extrêmement bien entouré ! Les bungalows typiques sont très confortables. En plus, on y mange divinement bien: mention spéciale à Mahpul qui en plus de ces nombreux talents cuisine super bien ! Le plus de tout cela: une équipe familiale/amicale aux petits soins pour vous. (Ils ont mêmes réparé mon sac à dos!) D'une immense gentillesse et serviabilité : j'ai eu un pincement au coeur en partant. On s'attache très rapidement à toute cette sympathique équipe. Je leur souhaite une belle réussite et de rester aussi humble et ouvert aux autres.

    Besser geht nicht. Wunderschön gelegen in den Reisfeldern. Super saubere,neue und konfortable Bungalows,suuper Essen und unglaublich freundliches Personal. Geht nicht,gibts nicht, unsere Wäsche wurde gewaschen und jeder Zusatzwunsch ohne Aufpreis erfüllt. Aus der geplanten einen Nacht wurden 4!!! die tollen Abende am Lagerfeuer haben auch dazu beigetragen.

    Emplacement perdu au milieu des rizières. Bungalow fidèle aux photos. Personnel d'une grande gentillesse. Je recommande fortement!
