    Breakfast was simple and lovely. A nice lady arrives to your bungalow to make you pancake, and/or different types of eggs, fruits etc for breakfast at the outdoor kitchen. To have your own private area with pool and bungalow was awesome. Compared to other quite luxurious places on the Gilis I think Samalama is a bit overprized though. However the people who work there are really nice, and available if you need them. Other than that we loved the stay at Villa Samalama. Especially the pool was awesome!

    All the staff were very friendly and welcoming, the pool area was immaculately kept and it was in an excellent location to reach surrounding restaurants, bars and beaches. The bikes were a fantastic addition and we used them every day!

    The villa was wonderful with a large pool and location was great, quite secluded but near the vibrant Queens Sunset with lots of restaurants just a short walk away. The staff were very attentive and in general people on the Gili Island very friendly Didn't see any rubbish or animal abuse as reported by others

    Beautiful villa. Very private and right by the beach. Bikes are provided and they were brilliant for getting around the island. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
