We booked at the last moment due to unforeseen circumstances. After an initial misunderstanding the staff took us via jeep to the camp from the visitors centre. We were extremely impressed that they were able to accommodate 11 at short notice. The facilities offered were basic but very welcome. We were bowled over by the welcome and friendliness of the staff. The dinner and breakfast, Bedouin style were simply amazing. We took a guide the next day up to the ‘bridge’ rock formation. Again, no complaints whatsoever and we enjoyed the lunch in the desert. It may not offer the facilities of bigger camps but more than makes up for this in the welcome and friendliness of the staff. We leave Jordan with happy memories of Wadi Rum and can’t recommend Wadi Al-Qamar camp highly enough. -
