A great place to stay! We stayed twice in one week with our two young children and felt really lucky with our choice to stay. It is a brilliant location near the back entrance to Petra, and only 5 minutes drive to Wadi Musa and the main entrance. Rizek and Amira are an amazing host family, and looked after us so well! Our kids enjoyed playing each day in the street with the local children, and we loved evenings drinking mint tea with the neighbours. Rizek can organise tours to Wadi Rum and Petra, and anything else you might need! We even borrowed the neighbours donkey to walk us home, so the kids could ride back up the hill from Petra! Amazing!

We had a really good stay in Umm Sayhoun and were very pleased with our choice! Rizek was an awesome guide for us taking us to Wadi Rum and Petra, and organising a second day at Petra for us. Amira is the most amazing cook! We loved trying Bedouin food, and really enjoyed the atmosphere in the village in the evenings. A great place to stay! The beds are very comfortable and the location is walking distance to Petra. Rizek even organised one of his family members to lend us a donkey for our kids to ride home from Petra!! A great stay for our family. Highly recommend!!

We were truly welcomed as guests and not as "customers". Our host spent Time with us and we had a great time together and with his family. We will never forget the amazing and true moments shared together. The beds are really comfy, we slept as a baby. The area is perfect to explore Petra and its surroundings.

The owners of the accommodation were very kind, friendly and interested in our well-being. Everyone speaks good English. Hostess prepared and served us a very delicious dinner (was not cheap). Breakfast was good as well.

My friend and I had a great stay at Rizek's ! He was a perfect host: friendly, caring and fun. We laughed so much together... We will remember the comforting evenings around the heater and a cup of his delicious tea. Thank you for everything Rizek. It was nice to meet me ;) but most of all, it was nice to meet you ! =D
