    I could not get a non smoking room and was asked to pay money to upgrade to non smoking. But I have choice to accept SMOKING ROOM ONLY.

    Location was good and near to the new mall Grand Batam. Theres a nice seafood place just opposite the hotel. Staff hotel is very polite and helpful.

    > polite/ friendly/ attentive staff > breakfast spread was awesome > walking distance to the new Grand Mall, but crossing to the other side was one hell of an experience (no traffic lights ;-/ had to wait forever for the vehicles, cross at your own risk) > driving distance to Nagoya Hill Mall (about 10-15 mins) > abt 15-20 mins away from Batam Centre Ferry Terminal

    Breafast was delicious & served with 2pcs. half boiled eggs... Very near to shopping centre, Chinese Temple, Wet markets & Windsor food court within 15min. walking distance, also 15min drive to harbour bay ferry termination......

    The front desk is quick to react when I requested a smoking room and less than 10 min I had another room. Requested a simple decor and it was nice
