    To bad we got screwed in the end, the lady of the house was great, so were the rooms but in the end we got charged for an extra room although the owner said he would not, after we left (and were 200 miles away) out credit card was charged again. I had in writing he would not charge us but did anyway, this is not the way of doing business if you ask me.

    Great location with on site parking. Hosts are very welcoming. The house is beautifully restored and is a real gem. Mary's brown bread is perfect.

    5 Star Irish Stay. Beautiful old property full of character and excellent value. The breakfast is cooked fresh and served in a beautiful dining room. It honestly feels like some of Ireland's best hotels.

    Breakfast was lovely cooked fresh, rooms were lovely we were attending a wedding in Ballyvolane house about 15mins away would recommend Abbeyville and would stay again if in the area

    My parents stayed here and the owners were so lovely and accommodating - they helped them with their luggage and thoroughly looked after them which was much appreciated. My parents loved their room with a four-poster bed - it was beautiful, clean and comfortable, in keeping with the rest of the property. Breakfast was made to order and nothing was too much trouble. Now we all want to visit!
