Esta pequeña posada rural está situada en el centro de Moffat, una antigua localidad balnearia a la que acudió a tomar las aguas el bardo nacional Robert Burns, entre otros muchos visitantes.

Para los amantes del senderismo, Moffat se encuentra justo a medio camino del sendero Southern Upland Way, y es una base excelente para explorar esta parte de Escocia. Edimburgo, Glasgow, Galloway y el distrito de los Lagos se encuentran a poca distancia.

La posada cuenta con permiso para vender bebidas alcohólicas y ofrece excelentes platos de 11:30 a 21:00 todos los días.

    Habitación amplia con aislamiento acústico y térmico. Cama grande y cómoda. Excelente desayuno.

    Stayed in cottage at back for our second time. Plenty of room. My only complaint is we didn't find bed comfy. Food is excellent and the staff are all lovely.

    just a short diversion off the main route to or from Scotland, it’s a great place to break the journey. Very spacious rooms, fresh decor and a fridge with proper milk.

    Have stayed at this hotel before, which speaks for itself. We booked the Old Stable accommodation and worth the extra.

    I loved the spacious bedroom, the extras made a difference, chocolates, cola etc were much appreciated. There was 8 of us and we all had great rooms and the breakfast was also first class👍

    Lovely large room. Exceptionally clean. The chocolates and biscuits were a nice extra touch. Very good breakfast.
