    We stayed in order to go to the Edinburgh Tattoo, the Fringe was on at the same time so the city was heaving. Claremont House had street parking outside (parking in the city would be a nightmare) and was an easy walk to bus stops, buses run frequently. Claremont House is beautiful and welcoming.

    Lovely decorated room with super comfortable beds. The house is located in a residential area with beautiful Victorian houses. A short, 20 minutes, stroll brings you to the centre of Edinburgh. A bus is around the corner if you wish to take public transportation. The owner gives a lot of information and tries her best to help you anyway she can. Lovely stay and delicious breakfast.

    Great hosts, very friendly, welcoming and provide a superb breakfast, cooked to order plus great continental selection. Bed is very comfy. Local bus stop is 110m from the front door.

    Beautiful house in a lovely neighborhood , 20 minutes walk from The Royal Mile, easy to get a taxi. Huge room, very big modern bathroom, both shower and bathtub/jaccuzi, very comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent in a Beautiful dining room, and one day we got an early Breakfast because we had to leave to Skye. Gill is very friendly and helpful (lending us an umbrella, giving us a lift to the restaurant, recommending where to eat) and sooo kind :-) Thank you Gill for great experience

    The B&B was beautiful and immaculate, our room was large and the bed very comfortable, breakfast was fabulous, and our host Gill was wonderfully friendly and accommodating. We would heartily recommend Claremont House to others seeking a B&B in and around Edinburgh.

    Claremont house is in a wonderful location within walking distance of town and is luxuriously appointed, nothing is too much trouble for Gill who also makes a cracking breakfast. We stayed here for 2 nights as a part of our honeymoon tour of Scotland and loved every minute of it.
