    Very pleased with the accommodation provided at Emerald Guest House. The room was well appointed, very clean and comfortable. The service was excellent: very accommodating and very friendly. The breakfast was first class: the hot food was perfectly cooked.

    I was attending a funeral at Moreton Hall and the guesthouse was an easy half-hour walk (or ten-minute bus ride) from the guest house.

    The room was very quiet with good sound isolation not hearing a single thing from outside.Breakfast was really amazing and full.

    The breakfast was delicious when it was served. We were also allowed check in early which saved us dragging our luggage all around Edinburgh. The rooms were charming and very clean.

    There are so many B&Bs in Edinburgh so you feel like you are saturated with choice. I’m glad that I chose the Emerald! Great location for travelling into Edinburgh city centre by bus. My room was excellent value for a single traveller and the bathroom was much bigger than I expected. WiFi connection was great. Breakfast was delicious and my bed was very comfortable - thank you to my hosts for a very nice stay!

    The landlady and staff went out of they way to make me fill comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Made to fill welcomed and looked after us.
