    The location was very convenient, the room very comfortable and the owners were very helpful and pleasant. Very highly recommended. Breakfast was good too, in a lovely dining room

    Super, warm and tasty. Lovely, warm professional welcome. Mary and her colleague couldn't have been more helpful towards me. I will certainly stay here in future and would recommend to anyone coming through Dumfries - check out the extensive literature ion hand to give you ideas as to what to do in this gorgeous area of the UK.

    Great breakfast,in fact, was unable to eat toast....full up. Nice clean b.room & a great big pot of tea, great. Premises steeped in history good location. Hope to stay again.

    The property is located about ten minutes walk from the town centre, the room was a good size, clean and comfortable, he owner is a really nice bloke who cooks a cracking breakfast, I can’t fault the place.

    breakfast was as you would expect - wholesome and freshly cooked noticed towels at front door for wet dogs !

    Good selection of teas/coffees in room. Nice shower, towels, nocectouch having shampoo, shower gel in room also.

    Excellent cooked breakfast. The guest house is very near the station as well.

    The owner was really nice and friendly. The room had a kettle and biscuits (refilled every day). The bed was clean and comfortable and there was a view of the grand train station an some nice trees. There was a nice garden at the front and there was a fun heroes of Scotland theme in the décor (Burns, Wallace, The Bruce etc).
