El Asora es un establecimiento para no fumadores inaugurado en 2013. La cocina compartida está equipada con nevera, fogones y microondas. También incluyen hervidor de arroz y hervidor eléctrico. También hay un salón compartido.

Las habitaciones compartidas tienen literas con cortinas o colchones tipo futón. Las habitaciones de estilo japonés son mixtas y cuentan con futones tradicionales sobre suelo de tatami (tejido de paja). Los aseos y los baños son compartidos. Las toallas se pueden alquilar por un suplemento.

El Guest House Asora se encuentra a 20 minutos en coche del mirador de Daikanbo y a 30 minutos en coche del monte Aso. La casa de baños termales más cercana se encuentra a 10 minutos a pie, mientras que los baños termales de Kurokawa Onsen están a 50 minutos en coche.

    This hostel is run by a wonderful host called Jun Jun, she made our stay very special. When we arrived she gave us all the Information of the local area, where to eat, where the onsens were and information about mount Aso. Unfortunately the volcano was too active for us to visit the crater however Jun Jun told us about route 111 which allowed us to drive through the volcanic mountain range which was beautiful. The house is fully equipped, there is even a communal space where you can make food. Great place to stay and we would highly recommend anyone to stay here whilst visiting Aso.

    The hostess is very friendly and kind. The location of the house is great, it is very near to Mount Aso. The house is very clean, comfortable and well-decorated. There is a common area where you can chat with each other. Free parking is provided. You can use the bicycle for free in the first 2 hours. It is awesome for being able to explore the neighbourhood with bicycle. The host also prepared many travel guide and local tips for us.

    The place is simple and the staff is super nice and funny. It's a small place (with a human size) where you can discuss with the other guests and meet some nice people. It's also calm during the night and it's not a loudly place at all.

    Nice to have free parking for our car inside the guesthouse compound. Staff was nice & helpful (limited English skills) with info on nearest restaurants & supermarket. Great to have a toilet just for the girls & it comes with one of those modern heated Japanese toilet bowls which was nice especially since the weather was still cold in late winter

    The Asora Guest House is located in a residential area and the residents were very friendly; they even greeted to me when I was walking toward the railway station in the morning. The The guest house is comfortable and it was so warm to stay inside during my stay. The staff was not be able to speak too much English; however, he was friendly and able to tell me the necessary information.
