    Hotel con mucho encanto muy bien restaurado con mucho gusto y detalles y mantenido pero la comida no es buena y el servicio muy lento Si los baños fueran más grandes y renovados le correspondería más categoría. Nos gustó mucho

    Love the buildings and the atmosphere. It's a nice idea to open it with an entrance fee for people to come and take photos and have a drink. Like having a tennis court there to have a game.

    The Property is without a doubt very beautiful. The building we stayed in "Acorn" is the oldest building and something of an icon in Kalaw. People come to have their picture taken here even if they are not staying. The gardens are really well kept and the whole property is very very clean. We found the bed very comfy and the room was really lovely with a powerful shower and complimentary soap and shampoo which smelt amazing.

    Driving in the big double gates and up the driveway the building was very impressive with nice views from every room across the flowering gardens and hills. The rooms were lovely and the staff were curtious and mostly spoke good English. We had a lovely evening sitting on the porch having a cocktail during happy hour and the breakfast buffet was really good with both western and asian options galore! We tucked in with vigar as we were starting a two day trek to Inle Lake that day (Sams trekking was great and will arrange pick up from here). We suggested to the manager that a pool (instead of tennis court perhaps) would make this place perfect. For the approx 40 dollars usd we paid it was a good stay and not to far to walk to town via the google maps walking directions (shorter than road)

    So far the best Hotel in Kalaw I've ever stayed. Comfy beds, good running hot shower. Facilities (Bathroom) could be better though- a bit old but clean and neat. Never failed to satisfy a tranquility-loving mind. Breakfast is always at its best- ranging from local Shan noodle to Continental breakfast to homemade cookies/pastries. Tennis Court and Photo spots are huge huge plus!

    The lovely heritage buildings. The hotel bathrooms need to be updated. They are old and the pipes in our barthroom was leaking. The shower curtain was old. The hotel staff are polite and friendly but it will help if the staff wear a name badge. It is difficult to tell who is the staff.

    The colonial style of the hotel is amazing; it is peaceful and quiet, a great place to relax and enjoy the space, great for families with kids; beautiful gardens and lots of space to play. Staff is amazing
