Offering views of the Crocodile River and Kruger National Park, Kambaku River Lodge is a privately-owned lodge with game viewing opportunities.

The spacious, luxury African-themed suites are all full river facing suites, equipped with a kitchenette, covered patio and en suite bathrooms. The Family suite has partial river view from one bedroom and the patio and shares a bathroom.

The suites have access to 3 pools and a river deck, and all suites have their own BBQ and fire-pit facilities.

The Kambaku family home has a fully-equipped kitchen and comes with an open-plan lounge, dining area and large covered patio offering views.

Breakfast, dinner and spa services can be arranged on advance request. All meals are served on your private patio facing the river. The owners can also assist you with the organisation of safari excursions in open game vehicles and golf rounds at Leopard Creek Country Club. Day trips to Mozambique, Swaziland and the surrounding attractions can be arranged.

Kambaku River Lodge is set within 20 km of Malelane. The Kruger Nation Park Malelane Gate is 23 km from the property and Leopard Creek Country Club is 22 km away.

    El lugar, la comida y el servicio son excelentes. Cuidan todos los pequeños detalles. Las cenas de en la noche que prepara Martha son increíblemente buenas!

    Fue de los mejores alojamientos en los cuáles he ido! Todo estuvo ESPECTACULAR. La vista al río con los elefantes, rinocerontes...el cuarto súper amplio y bonito con vista muy bonita, las comidas deliciosas, la atención de todo el personal.. es un lugar dónde regresaré sin duda alguna.

    El hotel queda frente al río donde se ven los hipopótamos descansando a corta distancia. La atención de las personas y la comida fue fantástica!! Todo excelente.

    Fantastic location with wildlife in front of the house. Really great meals served on your own patio. Wonderfull spacious house. Only one regret: we only stayed 2 nights. Many thanks to the lovely staff for their kindness.

    Everything... but especially the view of the river, seeing hippos, crocs, elephants, giraffes, warthogs, impala, waterbuck and herds of buffalo. The food was excellent and served on our private patio. We did a sunrise game drive with Elvis which was absolutely wonderful - highly recommend! The room was really spacious and you could even shower with a view! The fire pit outside the room was lit every night (thank you Dennis) and drums let you know that dinner was on its way. Leanne and all her team were so welcoming and friendly and the service was fantastic. It’s a really wonderful place and we’d love to come back one day! We loved every minute of our 5 night stay.

    The staff were amazing - so accommodating, especially Anzelle, who went out of her way to make things perfect for us. The owner came to chat with us once every day to see how we were getting on/chat about our safari. The safari was arranged through the hotel, and the driver had 20 years experience. He really knew what he was doing. The lodge is so beautiful - the rooms are gorgeous, and the view over crocodile river is spectacular, especially with hippos, elephants and crocodiles to watch. Eating dinner every night on the veranda with that view, listening to the hippos honking was wonderful. This is the best hotel we have ever stayed in.
