    Room pleasant (we booked a superior room) and quiet despite being on the High Street. Good onsite free parking and good breakfast with pleasant staff. Good value for an overnight stay.

    The property is very run down. Black mould in the bathroom and on the ceiling . Wallpaper hanging off the wall. Won’t stay again

    Staff were pleasant, as helpful as they could be. The breakfasts were good. The area roundabout is beautiful. The town is very nice in parts.

    The restaurant was in urgent need of repair - evidence of damp on the ceiling and conservatory glass very dirty - clearly had not been cleaned for a long time. Our room No 9 was tired and in need or redecoration and the bathroom tiles were old and very dirty.

    A nice old hotel. Revitalised with modern decor. Bar was welcoming as were the staff. All of the team were pleasant and helpful. We ate there and enjoyed both our meals.

    We got a free pint as we complained.as we had booked a twin room but got a double with a sofa bed with no bedding. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast

    The room was lovely but the kettle could do with a descale. Could not have a hot drink due to this. Room 14 we stayed in.
