    The breakfast was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful and the location was absolutely superb for our visit to nearby National Trust properties. We were really impressed by the layout location of our room in an annexe and although the restaurant is closed on Sunday and Mondays, we were informed in advance and given alternative solutions which also turned out to be great places to eat, so we were impressed all round.

    The location was a little further from the town I was working in however it was quiet, staff were excellent and the breakfast was superb! Bed was super comfy and i loved my room as it had doors to open up onto the balcony for fresh air...

    The breakfast was very good. The building is quirky and attractive. The room itself was large and pleasantly decorated. The bed was very large and very comfortable.

    Andrew was a fantastic host. The accommodation didn’t offer dinner the night we were there so he recommended an alternative option which was lovely. Huge room with wonderful views over the street, extremely comfortable bed & pillows. Bathroom was a good size, tea making facilities in the room, breakfast was excellent.
