    A piece of paradise, tucked away off the main street in Franschhoek. Beautifully kept secluded gardens are a perfect retreat from the bustle of the streets. Staff were most professional, and our room was simply perfect, we couldn't want for a thing. We had dinner in La Petite Colombe, which is on the hotel premises. We consider La Colombe to be one of the best restaurants in Africa, and it's 'newer' sibling did not disappoint. Altogether, an excellent experience, marred only by breakfast, see below.

    A world-class, tranquil, beautiful and classy boutique hotel in the centre of Franschhoek. As with the rest of the Leeu offerings, pure class in all aspects, including superb and warm service by well-trained staff. You will leave with a desire to return.

    The location is perfect, bang in the middle of the action in downtown Franschhoek. Immaculately presented, super friendly and helpful staff. Large room, comfortable bed. Food is superb, especially the Omelette Arnold Bennett for breakfast and the presentation is fabulous. We ate at La Petite Colombe one of our two nights and the haut cuisine there is world class. We had a wine tasting session at Leeu Estates in the countryside and were highly impressed. Mr Singh's art collection is generously displayed around the properties in The Leeu Collection.
