The hotel is outstanding! Very comfortable and with a broad and excellent selection of restaurants for dinner. The top-floor sky-bar is very nice as well and they have a great selection of cocktails and wines. I have stayed here for a week this year and also last year, so I can confirm that the quality of the experience is consistently very high. The selection of the breakfast buffet is outstanding. The cheaper continental & American breakfast variants are also very good. I always book without breakfast as on some days I prefer to simply have a croissant & coffee in one of the coffee shops around the corner whilst on others I prefer to use the hotel's buffet.

The location is excellent - near to the metro line. In hotel shopping is very good value. A very comfortable bed.In hotel dining is very good - especially the Japanese restaurant.

It was like an oasis in the city, having garden. The original French Club building is marvellous. Five minutes walk from metro station, restaurants around. Clean, good breakfast, nice view from 33rd floor (including the elevator). The garden was a wonderful place which you can walk around and makes you forget that you are in one of the most crowded city in the world.

The hotel in itself is nice with a beautiful lobby and a wonderful garden Staff is absolutely great always available and smiling Sport facilities specifically the swimming pool is fantastic as well as sauna and bath facilities And the hotel is perfectly located straight in the middle of one of the best area to spend time in Shanghai
