    Really nice cottage, perfectly located to move around Kurokawa Onsen and hike around Aso-san. Great advices on the hike from the owner and really good breakfast !

    I’ll definitely stay here if I come to Minamioguni! I stayed here for two nights and always left with full of energy because the owner provided a big breakfast and it was really really delicious. As I came here alone without renting any car, the owner enthusiastically sent and pick me up to and fro the nearest bus stop. If you feel like escaping from city life, this’s some place you can enjoys with.

    Beautiful private wood cabins, that are both rustic but also have all necessary modern features, such as power points, heaters, kitchen. The views are great from the front deck of the cabin. The hosts provide a great breakfast including fresh ground coffee and baked bread. If I return to Kuju/Kurokawa I will stay here again

    A very friendly and helpful owner, even before I arrived he sent messages so I would not get lost. The location is a bit remote, but with a rental car it's easy to get to. The onsen doesn't have a great view like the ones in Kurokawa-onsen, but it was very relaxing. A very beautiful location and only a 5 minute drive from Kurokawa-onsen.

    The staff were extremely nice and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious, the room was great, the surroundings were really nice and it's close to Kurokawa Onsen. There are two bathhouses that can be used as showers or private onsens. We arrived (by rental car) at night when it was really dark and, while the place is off the main road, google maps took us right there. I wish we could've stayed longer!

    The place was awesome. The host was really nice and very accommodating. He responded quickly and made arrangement since we were running late for check in. The breakfast was way better than I expected. Lovely place and if you have a car it's best to stay there and use it as your base for Kurokawa and its environs. Bed had warmers too so aweosme I will definitely come back!

    It is a very beautiful place. The ambience is very into the Christmas season. Breakfast was fantastic n delicious. A very good place to sit back, read a book n drive a cup of hot chocolate. My friend n I were the only guests. Very exclusive! It snowed a bit. Saw two cute deers outside my hut in the morning. Overall, it was a wonderful stay. I love it!
