    We loved the peaceful atmosphere and excellent ambience at the guesthouse. This beautiful and historic guesthouse with its deep character is really appealing. It is situated in a quiet and safe town. This place is a must visit. It is wthin reach of a number of tourist attractions. The hosts Waldu and Angeline Oosthuizen are the best hosts you can get. Thank you for creating a home away from home, for all the warmth that you offered. We will be back!

    We were on the Garden Route in South Africa so only stayed one night. It has beautiful grounds with a swimming pool which would be good for a family holiday in the summer time. There wasn't much round about but it was safe to walk to restaurant etc.

    Amazing stay at the Port Wine Guest House. It's in lovely Calitzdorp, next to the vineyards; the owners are very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are clean, comfy and big, great value for money. The garden is so green and pretty, with a very nice pool. I wish we stayed more than one night. Highly recommended.
