    La ubicación es genial, la habitacion es grande y la señora q nos recibió super bien, se hizo entender aunque de inglés mas bien no sabia.

    I was the only person to stay there so i had the whole house to myself including the tatami living room and kitchen.

    The very kind owner of Shingu Guest House allowed us to store a couple small bags while we hiked the Kumano Kodo, and when we returned to stay in Shingu, we had the whole guesthouse to ourselves. Our room was very spacious and comfortable (we love tatami mats and futons in rooms), and it was in a great location for the bus terminal.

    Nice accommodation and very good value for money. The guest house is well located. They contacted us beforehand to make sure they could welcome us upon arrival. Our bedroom was quite large and the bed was confortable. Overall very happy with our stay.

    I liked the guest house and locals I meet in Shingu were lovely. A particularly great Italian restaurant. And very helpful tourist information office with staff who could speak very good English.

    This is essentially a self-catering accommodation, so you won't get breakfast, but you have access to a kitchen where you can prepare your own food. It is an 80-year old house in Hongu, very close to a ruined castle on a hill overlooking the river and quite close to the famous Nachi Waterfall. The owner was very helpful and spent a lot of time with me helping me figure out the best way for me to visit Nachi Falls the next day and still make my train on time.

    Nothing fancy just good, honest and authentic Japanese guest house at great value. Very friendly welcome and then we were given all the privacy we could want.a

    The room was beautiful and the blankets were so warm at night. As Europeans we were so happy about the heated toilet seat :D The house has everything you need and it feels so different and more Japanese than in a western styled hotel. It feels a bit like a foreign home :) The shingu station is very close.
