    A big nice Family Hotel of the 5 star bracket. All amneties as expected. The Pools very best, since our kids could choose between 3 different Hotel Pools from the adjacent Sutra chain Hotels (Harbour).

    Everything, tho larger than I was expecting. The staff were outstanding and the service in the restaurants excellent.

    Lovely breakfast spread although the crowds were a bit daunting. We however always got a table quite quickly and ate to our fill. a good selection of facilities and activitieson site. Staff were very friendly and courteous. All the meals we ordered for room service were excellent. Housekeeping were excellent.

    We stayed 8 nights & overall I could not complain one bit about the Magellan. We did have a problem with the air conditioner in our room so they upgraded us for 5 nights in one of the best rooms. The original room was fantastic but the upgraded room was out of this world. Large bedroom & living area (separate) with an ensuite & a powder room. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome.

    Pure luxury! A lovely base to explore KK from. I accidentally left my phone in a Grab taxi just before we checked out. The staff at reception together with the Help desk at Grab, and the driver herself combined to get my phone back to me. This was over and above expectations and much appreciated.

    The pool and public areas were great but the room was run down - broken toilet seat, fraying and stained furniture, one towel per guest and rotten wood surrounding the basin- and not what one would expect of a 5 star hotel. Very disappointing

    It has everything you need, restaurants, bar, swimming pools and close to the country club where you can find gym & activities such as bowling. Rooms are a little dated but very spacious and Black our curtains at night.

    Location is good but too overrated. Breakfast in club is better as you are not in crowd and no birds flying around. Big pool is good.
