    The room was quite large by Japanese hotel standards and the view over the river was lovely. We had half board for 2 days and the food at both breakfast and dinner was delicious and plentiful. Nice onsen.

    This was absolutely fabulous! It was our best stay in Japan out of all the places! Incredibly quiet room with an absolute stunning view, very clean and the staff was very friendly. My only regret is that we stayed only for 1 night. I genuinely can't recommend this place enough! Thank you for making our stay memorable!

    A clean and comfortable hotel situated a 15 minute walk from the town. The final part of the walk back is a bit hairy, especially in the dark. The view from the rooms over the river is spectacular. We couldn't avail of the evening meal but the traditional Japanese breakfast is delicious. The bus back from Lake Ashi stops right outside the door which is handy.

    Amazing Japanese experience ! The breakfast is amazing so as the view from our beautiful bedroom and the public Hansen! WONDERFUL experience :) Highly recommended (from a French guy and an American girl)

    This place is amazing. The hotel might be a bit outdated, but the river view you get from your room is outstanding. Apart from that, Japanese style breakfast and dinner are definite worth trying - unforgettable experience - it's typical, delicious food, served in a restaurant outlooking mountains. In addition to all of that, there is a hot bath available - perfect to relax after a long day. The staff is always smiling and helpful, as well.

    exceptional views. The room was very large which was really great having stayed in small room in Tokyo. Had a beautiful river flowing behind the hotel with large window.
