    Breakfast and dinner were absolutely fabulous. Rooms were Japanese style and were good.

    Well we certainly had a unique experience at this fine Ryokan. Our room was very nice with comfortable double bed (western style) but with a tub / shower outdoors on our private porch. Tub supplied by local hot water (but no too hot). We were prepared delicious and gracious vegetarian meals. (Eating Japanese style). Very welcoming staff and with decent English. Free WIFI in bar. Free parking. Very special.

    It was a beautiful haven of peaceful relaxation and everything was just such a wonderful experience. The outdoor bath was so amazing as was the room and traditional breakfast. Thank you.

    It’s the right place for one to experience traditional Japanese ryokan. Great atmosphere and attentive friendly staffs.

    Warm and polite staff who tried to make us feel as comfortable as possible. They welcomed us with macha and fruit juice (for kids) and at night, placed Hot water bottles to warm our futon. Breakfast was a great spread of home-cooked food and they customised the second day breakfast for us, by including western-style dishes for kids. Ryokan was 30 mins drive to Mt Aso and about 10 mins from Miyagi Station.

    The staff was amazing. We were coming really late with no idea how to get from Kumamoto Airpirt to Aso location. The personal tried to give us as much information as was possible and in the end they gave us lift to the station. Many thanks for that!

    Delicious food and outstanding service The location is close to the temple. Despite no English translation we were eventually able to use the local buses which stop only footsteps from the hotel)
