A very calm, comfortable place. We had a small terrace with a view on the pond. There were some cute frogs too. We could use the private onsen with reservation, pretty nice, just beware of the spiders on the way haha.

The rooms are very big and in an original Japanese style. The view is also really beautiful. You can also use a private onsen for free for an hour!

A completely satisfying Ryokan experience. The evening meal alone was worth the price of staying. 12 course dinner with various seafood, vegetables, beef, pork, soup and dessert. Onsen was also great, with a large outdoor hot spring for women only, as well as one mixed men + women. The inside onsen for women was also great. The Ryokan provide many different soaps and creams, which you can also buy as a souvenir at the end of your stay, should you like them. The manager of the Ryokan personally came to greet guests at breakfast and offers complimentary shuttle service from the Ryokan to the bus stop. Many of the staff are bilingual or even trilingual, making communication easy.

Classical onsen, delicious Japanese breakfast. Very friendly staff. The atmosphere of the 1980s definitely has its charm, but -
