    I liked how things rapidly improved, once I was settled into my room. Superior rooms have kettles ! I had a justifiable whinge about the Yuzana Garden Hotel on my arrival on Friday night. But the place grew on me. It had pleasant gardens and an outside pool. The buffet breakfasts had a wide variety of choice, though it was the same choice each morning. Once you come to the realisation that it can be viewed as a retro hotel, a 100 year old colonial edifice stuck in the 1950s/1970s, it's quite fun, like stepping back into a dated, period movie set. When brown, beige and magnolia were de rigeur. The reception staff, restaurant staff and doorboys were truly wonderful. I cannot praise them enough.

    Amazing old building near the centre of town. Beautiful large room. Staff couldn’t be more helpful, excellent. It’s not high end luxury but it’s completely charming and very good value.

    All of staff was so polite and friendly. They were so nice. SoHo Bar was really nice. Chilled beer, tasty food, friendly staff, and reasonable price...

    A great old colonial building rather dated but you get a real sense of being back in time, it has everything, a great pool and garden and the staff and service are wonderful, nothing is too much trouble.

    Classic colonial-style hotel set in a beautiful garden with pool, coffee shop and choice of two restaurants. Well maintained and still very affordable. Our room was large, with high ceiling and balcony. When we returned a second time, they gave us a complimentary upgrade to a huge two-room suite. The staff were charming and very helpful. Breakfast buffet included. The property is large and the hotel building is set back from the noise of the street, offering a peaceful retreat. Pool was good, though closed on Mondays for cleaning. The hotel is a short walk to Bogyoke Aung San Market, and close to a street of bars and restaurants. You can also walk to the riverfront, about 15 minutes with interesting sights along the way such as Sule Pagoda. Excellent location and value. My favourite hotel in Asia.

    Se siente como un estilo colonial para mí. Hay jardín y estacionamiento grande. Y la ubicación es centro de la ciudad.
