    Nice welcome from Bob and Claire, lovely room with all we needed, clean, comfy with a good shower and plenty of plug sockets! Safe, off street parking at the rear of the house, there's a lovely garden to sit out in with lots to look at. Breakfast was good and plentiful with cooked food, cereals, toast, tea, coffee and juice. We don't have allergies but I heard the other guests being catered for, nothing seemed to be too much fuss. A lot of reviews mention the bus stop outside but the walk into York along the river was lovely, we walked in and back every day we were there. Lovely old house, loved the decor and furniture, and the floor in the hall is gorgeous! Would stay again and would recommended. 10/10 thank you for a lovely stay in York
