    Carole la anfitriona perfecta. Nos explicó todo York con un mapa y nos dejó un archivado con la historia de la ciudad. Y cómo cocina... desayunos a elegir y recién hechos.

    Carole was extremely helpful and welcoming. The breakfasts were exceptional with all the usual choices plus others one wouldn't have anticipated. It was easy to walk to the centre of the city. The room was lovely.

    Lovely firm mattress. Great full English breakfast. Owner very well informed about the are. Only to happy to help. Drove fellow guest who had been poorly to hospital to collect prescription and waited to bring them back.

    Our host Carole was brilliant and started our stay with a great nfo session about York. She went way above and beyond expectations even organising someone to do our washing for us!! Breakfast was lovely!

    Carole was very friendly, warm and welcoming, going out of her way to ensure I had everything I needed and told me lots about the local area and history. I loved that both Carole and Wendy made a point of greeting all the guests by name. Breakfast was lovely with a nice menu to choose from the night before. I'm afraid I didn't try the famous Whiskey porridge! This was everything a British B&B should be; welcoming, homely, flexible, well provisioned. It's also really convenient for walking into York, being close to the city walls. I would definitely like to stay here again on my next visit to York.

    The property is a lovely Victorian house retaining some of the original features which I loved. It’s conveniently located, only a short walk from the city walls and everything within. The landlady, Carole, is very knowledgeable about York and Yorkshire in general and can point you to the things that only the locals know about. She is very accommodating and helpful. The breakfast was great- a large variety and you can choose your options. Well recommended
