    Without exception the staff were fantastic! Friendly, professional, helpful and attentive. My suite was very well appointed and comfortable. Haven't slept as well in years. There's a bus stop into the city centre. Use bus service 415 to Picadilli to start exploring. The food was amazing! I ate breakfast and evening meals at the hotel and was not disappointed.

    Beautiful hotel. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Meals were very good. Great location. Would definitely stay there again.

    The bed was massive and very comfortable. Very close proximity to the outlet and not far from the city centre, so good location. All staff were very friendly and the front of house area was very nice.

    the location of the hotel and value for money in York was very good particularly for the retail outlet. Breakfast was excellent. We asked for a quiet room and were delighted with its location away from the busy areas

    a lovely 4 poster bed, very comfortable and very warm. Room was nicely decorated though rather dark. Tea making facilities with lots of milk ( a bonus) lovely large mirror and very bright in bathroom. Plenty of hot water in the shower. There was lots of storage space, drawers and robe, even an iron. We had an alcholic drink in the lounge which was very pleasant, guests were friendly too. Next morning we looked at the garden very attractive with a water feature. There is a bus stop opposite with plenty of busses we were told.

    Amazing hotel. Perfect base for getting around and into the centre of York. Staff very helpful. Breakfast amazing. Would recommend this hotel and stay there again without a shadow of a doubt.

    The evening meal was served really hot and tasty even though it was the Faulty Towers Dining Experience. Breakfast we were advised there may be a wait but we were seated immediately you had the most wonderful woman managing it. She told us she was 84 !!!
