The location was perfect and the owner was so helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and the dining room was absolutely charming. -

David was a fantastic host. Gave us lots of useful information and was extremely hospitable, nothing was too much trouble. We really enjoyed our stay at Crook Lodge. The location is excellent, 10 mins walk from York Minster, National Railway Museum, river Ouse and the centre of York. There is free parking available, which was very convenient. Crook Lodge is a pretty house with lots of history, beautifully decorated in and out, lovely flowers in the courtyard garden. Additionally, breakfast was delicious and included locally sourced foods such as eggs. -

Breakfast between 8h30 to 9h30. But the owners were very accommodating and we have able to have a slightly earlier breakfast. Fresh fruits salad was very much appreciate. All the choice that you could imagine.
