This renovated Victorian home was built in 1914, and is located in Oranjezicht, just over 2 km from the centre of Cape Town. It features an outdoor swimming pool and free Wi-Fi throughout.

All of the bright, spacious rooms at Guesthouse One Belvedere feature a shaded balcony with views of Table Mountain and a small seating area. The rooms each include under-floor heating.

There are also a number of restaurants within a 5-minute drive of the Belvedere.

Guests can enjoy the sunny terrace or garden or relax in the hot tub and sauna. Other facilities include car rental and free parking.

The beaches of Camps Bay and Clifton are both around a 6 km drive from the Guesthouse One Belvedere. The Castle of Good Hope is just over 2 km away.

    Casa estilo victoriano que aunque está un poco alejada del centro es una zona segura y con buena imagen y el alojamiento posee parking. Los propietarios encantadores, una atención sobresaliente. Desayuno buenísimo. Despertar o desayunar con vistas al Waterfront y la Table Mountain no tiene precio.

    The property has beautiful old world charm. Very comfy bed and pillows. A great range of films if you choose to stay in. The breakfast is exquisite, fresh fruits, healthy museli etc. Charles, Aldo and Gladys gave us superb service and we felt so at home. We look forward to our next visit. Donna & Marven

    Of all the places I have stayed in the area in the last two years, it is the best. But it is a bit expensive. Previously the breakfast had been fantastic, cooked by the owner. That responsibility has now been given to an employee, who provided me with a very mediocre breakfast, not worth the additional R110.00.

    Where to begin? From the wonderful setting nestled below Table Mountain to the friendly welcoming staff, staying at this beautiful Victorian guesthouse was a delight from start to finish. The spacious rooms were tastefully decorated and each led out to a balcony where we could sit out to enjoy the view, watch the world go by and listen to the birds singing. There were tea making facilities in the rooms and an honesty bar on the upstairs landing with a selection of snacks and drinks. The hosts couldn't be more helpful in terms of suggestions of where to eat and what to see and do. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, with eggs and bacon cooked to order while we sat on the terrace enjoying the sunshine. I will definitely go back and would highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone looking for somewhere to soothe your soul.

    The architecture of the old house was charming. We welcomed the proximity to Kloof St and its' restaurants. The staff were very attentive to our needs and help with our luggage was a bonus. The view from the verandah outside our room was majestic. Thank you for a great stay. We will be back.
