1 minute from Wakayama station, 15~20 minutes walk to Wakayama castle and major tourist attractions. Perfect access to any part of region via railways. Nice garden view from the window, clean room.

I spent only one night in this hotel the day I arrived in Japan, I was given room 740 which was kind of small (kind of expected in Japan for standard rooms) but still had everything needed in terms of furniture and amenities. The bed was also comfy, not too hard and not too soft. The staff was really helpful, they helped me filling the form required to forward my luggage to the next hotel. All in all I'd say that this hotel gives you a good-enough value for the price, especially when you consider its position just in front of the Wakayama railway station.

Location is great. Right next to the station and we had to catch a train the next day. Staff were courteous and helpful and the iron was great. No leaks and did not stick to the fabric. Room size is significantly larger than most similarly priced hotels in Tokyo of the same standard.

The staff were very efficient and helpful. The restaurant and cafe are very good. The location is fantastic. The hotel forms part of the railway station, although you won’t hear a sound iin your room! Buses run from outside the hotel as do taxis and obviously trains. There is an express bus to Kansai Airport for Yen 1150 per person one way. There is a huge shopping centre at your doorstep so you have everything you could want to buy. There are good coffee shops which are easily located. There are English speaking people on hand to help with directions etc. Contrary to what we were told in Australia, JR rail passes are readily available inside Japan. Do not stress about buying your rail pass in Australia. There are many more option available to you at every major rail station. Finally, the hotel is fabulous. It’s at least four star, impeccably clean, quiet and perfectly positioned. We highly recommend it.

Big rooms compared to other Japanese hotels. Much better sized bathroom than other hotels. Staff were friendly and had good English skills. Free bike rental available. Location fantastic at just a few steps from the central exit of Wakayama Station.

Very convenient place, just adjacent to JR station. Same building with the department store. Direct access to the restaurant floor of the department store.
