    The breakfast was fantastic every morning. We enjoyed all the choices at breakfast and the staff was awesome and attentive.

    Staff at the Lamb and Lion were just great, from check-in, at the bar and at breakfast. The patio (garden) out back was a great place to have a pint and a light lunch, although we felt a bit like a zoo exhibit with people walking by on the wall above us and looking down!!! The location is excellent, within a very easy walk of all the major sites in York. The breakfast was very generous.

    This was the third time my wife as stayed at the Lamb and Lion. My first. My wife thinks that the service and food just get better and better. I was very impressed too. We will definitely stay at the Lamb and Lion again.

    Once I found The Lamb and found parking, I couldn't have asked for a better located hotel for my purposes. The Lamb is literally set in the historic wall and is literally metres from the Minster, Shambles and other attractions. It is also close to the Railway Museum which can also be accessed by a "road train". There is a charming hidden garden. The breakfast options were good.

    Location right next to Bootham Bar. Parking, park at Marygate and get a permit on leaving, 5 min walk gonna cost a £10 pay at hotel.
