    Very quiet location very close to the city centre and cathedral and the Hospitium wedding venue. Parking permit included. Friendly staff responsive to requests online and in person.

    Warm welcome from the hosts who were so helpful and create a friendly atmosphere; lovely homely lounge with tea and complementary cake. Great breakfast. Comfortable, quiet rooms with complementary toiletries. Location is ideal for sight seeing.

    I would recommend this property. I have travelled extensively and the Minster walk was by far the best room i have stayed in for style,comfort and cleanliness. There were refreshments on arrival with ample tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits in our room. The location was spot on with easy access to all sights on foot. Parking was supplied but there is also a public car park close enough to utilise after check out.

    + good value + pictures and description match perfectly + very clean + comfy big bed (kingsize?), several pillows + cozy & old charm without being run down - everything very well kept/nicely renovated and lots of new details (especially good bathroom and hairdryer) + windows open (bedroom & bathroom) + got a room facing the street and old city wall and could see part of the minster in the distance + lots of thoughtful small things (complementary cake downstairs, little biscuits / toiletries etc in room) + saw staff only in the morning and at checkout - but everything felt nicely sorted (greeting envelope upon arrival in the sitting / breakfast entrance room) + great location in a side street along the old city wall, pretty quiet, short walk (maybe 5 min) to the city center with lots of colorful speciality shops, Outdoor market, closes, and modern shops, restaurants and the York minster Would go again!

    Fantastic accommodation in excellent location. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Close to railway station, the Minster and city centre. Will definitely stay here again.
