    Me encantó la hospitalidad de MissDof! Una señora que te trata como a un hijo o nieto. Comparándolo con todos los que he estado éste ha sido el mejor, pues lo tiene todo incluso lo que no me esperaba: sentirme como si estuviera en casa: cómoda, sin sentirme sola. Y la ubicación es idónea para disfrutar del ambiente a lugar entre las montañas, las vistas, el paisaje, la cercanía con el restaurante que está en una segunda planta y se puede ver gran parte de la ciudad, y la cercanía a una de las ruinas Mayas. Cuando vuelva a San Ignacio, Belize, escogeré ese lugar sin dudar!

    Lovely owner!! So Cute! She will do anything to make you feel comfortable. Makes breakfast, something to drink And she rings a taxi because its a little Bit out of town. And iT is very clean!

    If you ever come to this town, book this guesthome. Mrs Dof is honest, helpful, kind and more of this attributes. The house is clean, spacy and with a beautiful terrace view. Its more than you can imagine.

    This is the best bed and breakfast we have ever stayed at. It is like staying at your most wonderful Aunt's home where she pampers you with hospitality. Ms. Dof's breakfast's are excellent, she made us one of her signature lemon cakes, she even ironed my husband's shorts for him! Great AC, cable TV, beautiful view, excellent secure home and location, free parking, very comfortable bed. Her cleanliness is exceptional. Her dog is so adorable and they both made our stay homely and loving. Furthermore, I required medical attention, Ms Dof even accessed a local doctor's advice for me to discuss my issues with. We are incredibly grateful to her for her compassion and generosity. Ms Dof is such a rare Belizean gem!

    We were invited into Miss Dof’s home and treated like honoured guests. The veranda was an excellent place to unwind and watch the sunsets. Miss Dof is an amazing lady, the place is immaculate, the breakfasts were very satisfactory and I’d love to adopt her!

    Miss Dof’s was a home away from home. My wife and I were greeted like family, treated with cake, amazing giant breakfasts, and even a packed lunch when we took a day trip to Tikal. The room was comfortable, (if a little warm but it’s summer in Belize so what can you expect? The room’s AC unit and fans worked fine) the bathroom stocked with anything and everything you could ask for. Miss Dof’s is next door to Mayan ruins, has nice views, and is about a mile/20 minute downhill walk from downtown San Ignacio. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed our time with Miss Dof and her little dog!

    Miss Dof is absolutely lovely, she could not have done more for us and made us feel very welcome in her home. The location is very pretty for San ignacio - on top of a hill with great views. Very comfortable and home away from home.

    The major asset of this B&B is the owner, Mrs. Dof (or Dauphne), a wonderful elderly lady who is living a fulfilling life and has a great sense of humour and positive thinking. If Mrs Dof tells you her age, you will not believe it! And she still runs a guest home, remarkable. Note: not a guesthouse, but a guest home. And this is what she wants to provide: a home from home. You feel like being cared for by your mother or grandmother, with a hearty breakfast and nice conversation. Rooms are clean and spacious and the terrace with the swing is beautiful. I very much appreciated the detailed guidance on San Ignacio, Belize and other sights I received from a friend of Mrs. Dof's nephew, the manager of a tourism company.

    Miss Dof is a lovely person. She gave as a warm welcome and the day after she even surprised us with a delicious cake she made for us. We enjoyed sitting in the garden swing on the veranda and looking over the town. Cahal Pech ruins can be reached by foot. Very good breakfast. AC and fans in room. Communication was easy and helpful. We can absolutely recommend this place!

    I had a wonderful stay and the owner was so friendly and accommodating. The room was comfortable and breakfast was delicious! I would definitely recommend this place and would stay again in the future!
