Location ok. Close to lots of bars and eateries, short walk to shops and city attractions. Buses nearby, as was hop-on-hop-off tour bus.

The proximity to the town centre was great. Parking was good too.

Comfortable bed, excellent location and cheap for where located. Great to get free car parking as well! Staff were lovely and accommodating, all in all a pleasant stay.

Good location just minutes outside the centre. Basic, bargain room. No frills but clean and warm. Friendly staff. Live music (Saturday night) in the bar attached and cheap drinks.

The location was the best feature; it was central to York and a beer garden backing onto one of the Ouse tributaries. Lots of varied restaurants and cafes, etc, easily within walking distance. Defo spoilt for choice there! Excellent parking; safe and secure. We didn't use the pub but it looked like they had good entertainment and selection of drinks. Not sure about whether they have food.. The room was clean and it had a good sized en-suite plus tv and tea/coffee. The bed was clean and comfy. No breakfast but a 'spoons' just around the corner was a treat! Initially worried about the noise from the pub but nothing despite there being entertainment that night. I would use it again because of the location and secure parking. Also, fancied trying some of the restaurants nearby.
