    The room was very clean and comfortable and the hotel was in a great location- very close to the West Lake and The Longjing Tea Planatations. You could get to both by taking a taxi or renting a bicycle.

    Staff were friendly and helpful. Comfortable beds. Clean quiet location close to Lingyin Temple. Buses to West Lake sites at the door. Excellent Chinese breakfast.

    If you are looking for a quite place to stay and rest after you have explored the city for an entire day, this hotel is an option you must consider. The west part of the West Lake, where this hotel is situated, is composed of lakes, woods, and tea plantations, with no high buildings, nor busy traffic. Within this serenity, the buses, shared bicycles, and cabs can easily take you to the famous tourist spots, shopping streets, and transportation hubs easily. The hotel itself is a very friendly environment. A courtyard is surrounded by the two-story building where guest rooms are situated. It is a great spot if you are traveling with a group of friends (as I were), since it gives you both private space and a common area where you can gather and have fun.
